Way to go Google
I was reading this over at InformationWeek and it made me feel good that a company like Google can still play nice with open source. I mean I am always hearing people say that Google is the new evil empire much like Microsoft is/was talked about in that way. I don't see then as evil I see them as successful. How they got successful may have been done in rather questionable ways but if that is the case they will pay for it. Google however has pretty much always been a good player in the computing industry. They allow others access to their web services, they offer many free services to general folk, and they even give back to open source projects.

Ubuntu Feisty Fawn Released
I know I'm a little late on this (gee, by a whole day :) ) but congratulations to the Ubuntu folks on yet another release. Feisty Fawn has been good for a while in Beta but now it has officially been released for mass consumption. I've been doing my part as I've been seeding the DVD torrents for about a day so far and have transfered in excess of 30GB so far.

Ah... Memories :)
Came across this over at Wired. I personally liked a few different games more than what was on their list but in any case it was still fun to reminisce.
